Use live price ticker widget to keep your customers updated with real-time data of the market.

Let's configure the sample Live Price Ticker widget to help you understand how to do it for yourself. Also, please note that the data and the item values in the screenshots are examples, it would differ for different data sets.

 If you want to begin your email with a Live Price Ticker block, click on 

If you want to add Live Price Ticker below an existing block, click on the 

Under this, you can drag and drop the Live Price Ticker widget in editor.

The user can also select the currency as per their needs from the dropdown before configuring the Live Price Ticker.

 Click on the Configure button to set up the configuration. 

 In the pop-up box, enter the API endpoint which has the data you want to show to your customers. 

We expect an array where each element of the array should correspond to its variable. And, the array's length would define the maximum number of items.

 You can ignore the 'header' fields if you have the API pre-authorized, otherwise enter the respective value. 

Map each of the variables with the relevant items in the respective text field. 

 Map Icon to show the logo/symbol or icons of the items. 

It can be ignored by selecting the ignore option at the end of the dropdown.

 Map Price to show the real-time price of the item. 

Map Change to show the change in the value of the item based on a period. 

 Enter the Number of Items to set a limit on the number of items you want to show in the template.

 Click on the Configure button to complete the setup. 

Save the template before sending a test email, else widget will not render in the email.

Your Live Price Ticker is configured and ready for your customers!

How to use Live Price Ticker in your Emails?

Users can use star rating widget to gather feedback on their products or services. Star rating widget enables your contacts to respond directly inside the email.

Let us see how you can set it up in your template and increase the feedback responses. 

Click on Templates to open the template editor. 

Under this, you can drag and drop the star rating widget in editor. 

Star rating widget is added in your template. You can customise the design according to your needs.

How to customize the design of the widget?

Click on Texts to edit them from the text editor pop up above.

Click on the Block to see the options on the left menu.

Select the right size of the Stars from the options.

Set the background color of the block and the card from the color picker on the left.

And done! Your template is ready to receive more feedbacks.

How to use Star Rating Widget in your template?

Use spin the wheel widget to provide an exciting and unique way for customers to interact with your campaigns. 

Using spin the wheel widget, you can increase conversions by offering discount offers for their product or services, providing unique incentives to get responses for quick feedback and offering free prizes to improve the brand loyalty by engaging with their customers. 

Here's how you can it set it up for your campaigns.

 Select the theme color of the wheel. And set the Block color to match the background of the other blocks in the template.

 You can configure the Promotional offers in the Configure page. And the Winning message for each of them in the Win Page. 

1. Create promotional offers in the left menu. 

2. Enter the no. of times the particular offer should be won in the win ratio column. 

1. Enter the instruction on how to use the offer as the winning message. 

2. Add the CTA URL for each of the promotional offer.

 You can check how the email will look in Preview Mode or send test email. You can also interact with the Spin the Wheel widget in preview mode. 

Please note - you don't have to configure the fallback aka HTML version of the Spin the Wheel separately. Mailmodo will automatically render the appropriate version across different email clients. See the FAQ section for more details. 

Once template is finalized, use the template in bulk campaign, trigger campaign or journey campaign as per your requirements.

In the campaign dashboard, you can see the offers people won in the Submissions and Insights tab.

 to send follow up campaigns to your recipients based on their offers. 

How will Spin the Wheel widget be shown across different email clients? 

The experience for the Spin the Wheel Widget across different email clients will be as follow: 

On Gmail & Yahoo -> Both spinning of wheel and displaying offer will happen inside the email

On Apple Mail -> Spinning of wheel will happen inside email, but offer will be shown outside the email

On Outlook -> Both spinning of wheel and displaying offers will happen outside the email. 

Email client not mentioned above (for e.g. Mail Ru, Lotus, etc.) will have experience similar to the one of the above email clients. 

How to use Spin the Wheel widget in the editor for your campaigns?

You can now send interactive quizzes as a part of your email campaign. Quizzes can help you increase engagement, acquire new users and retain existing ones.

Step-by-step process to use the quiz widget in your email campaign

If you want to begin your email with a Quiz block, click on 

If you want to add quiz below an existing block, click on the 

Scored quiz has the following default elements- Cover Page, Questions and Result Page.

Select Cover page layout from the left panel.

You can select desired layout. Image can be replaced from the left panel. Quiz title, description and button text can be edited using the in place editor.

Cover page can be deleted from the top panel. 

If you want to add the cover page again, click on the plus icon>cover page.

Select question layout from the left panel.

Image can be replaced from the left panel. You can change the question text using the in place editor.

To add a new question, click on the plus icon on the top panel.

Select Answer layout from the left panel.

You can change the answer text using the in-place text editor.

To delete an answer option, hover over the option and click on the delete button. To add an answer option, click on New Option.

Button and block color can be customized from the left panel.

You can change the question order by moving it back and forth. To do so, click on the three dots besides the selected question. Question settings will open. You can move, duplicate and delete the question from here.

 Configure the result page. Layout can be selected from the left panel.

You can write optional text on the result page. Button text can also be changed using the in-place editor. 

Add a URL to the CTA button from the right panel.

 You can check how the email will look in Preview Mode or send test email. You can also attempt the quiz in preview mode. 

Please note - you don't have to configure the fallback aka HTML version of the Quiz Widget separately. Mailmodo will automatically render the appropriate version across different email clients. See the FAQ section for more details.

How to use Scored Quiz widget in your email campaign?

In this article we will see how to set up Shopify Product Recommendation Campaign.

Prerequisite needed before this process:-

1. Shopify store connected with your Mailmodo account (Refer 

 Navigate to the template section and click on the create template button. Select the relevant sample template or a blank template.

  In the template editor window, add the relevant content and message for your Product recommendation campaign.

 Next, add the Shopify Product Recommendation widget by clicking on More->Widgets->Shopify Product Recommendation

  - You can add products, customise heading, select your products from the drop-down, create discount code and set discount percentage (if applicable), from the right side panel.

 - Now, you can save the template and click on '

 - Add the subject line, Pre-header text, From name and Reply to email. Click on Next.

 - Select the Shopify Contact list from the contacts page.

You can also choose to segment your Shopify customer into two categories based on their purchase history:

Purchased- Those contacts who have purchased as a customer on your store in the whole lifetime

Never Purchased -Those contacts who have never purchased as a customer on your store in the whole lifetime

Select any one of these relevant to the email campaign and click on send to shoot the campaign.

You can also add specific contacts of your choice by downloading the customer data from your Shopify dashboard and importing them through various functions like, 'manual importing', 'import through csv files', 'import through apps' like, Zapier, Integromat, HubSpot etc.

Setup Shopify Product Recommendation Campaign

Zoom Integration feature can be used to add the registration link of your webinar directly within the AMP email template. This will reduce the number of steps involved in registration for the attendees.

Here is the step-by-step process to add your webinar registration form to an email template.

We will also be covering How to Deactivate Zoom integration, in case you want to integrate with a new account.

There are two ways to complete this step:

From the left pane, click on the Integrations tab. Then click on Zoom webinar under available apps.

After clicking on it you will be asked to Sign In to Zoom. Use the credentials of the account that you used to create the webinar.

Another way of doing this is within the email template itself. 

Click on templates tab, select the template in which you want to add the registration link and then click on ‘Edit’. You can also create a new template. 

After opening the editor click on plus icon ‘ + ’ and navigate to widgets -> More -> Scheduling -> Zoom

If you have created a blank template, click on See All under Interactive widgets. Scroll to Interactive widgets, select scheduling -> Zoom.

You will be asked to Sign In to Zoom. Use the credentials of the account that you used to create the webinar.

In the editor, from the right panel choose the webinar from the '

You will get your the 'Registration URL' from your Zoom dashboard. After logging to your zoom account > click on the webinars tab from the left window pane. Once you go to the bottom of the page, you will be able to find the 'Registration URL' which needs to be copy pasted in the 'Registration URL' tab

Upon opening the link you will get the fields given below

 of the block. To do this, Click on Fallback button next to the AMP.

After saving the template click on the preview button on the top right corner of the window pane.

In this window you will be able to preview all the fields which are present in your Zoom webinar

Click on 'Back to Editor' and save the template. Zoom will be integrated and you will be able to execute the campaign now

When the mail receiver opens the mail, they will find the form to register for the webinar.

The attendee needs to add the required details and click on the ‘Register’ button.

Upon successful registration, a ‘Webinar registration successful’ message would be visible

Later, the attendee will receive an email with webinar related details.

You can track your campaigns from the Mailmodo dashboard

Go to the ‘Campaigns’ tab and select the campaign with Zoom Webinar registration to observe its metrics

The Campaign dashboard shows various metrics such as Open Rate, Click Rate along with the 'Submissions' received.

The ‘Submissions ’ tab will provide data on your Webinar Registrations.

Users can deactivate the integration to setup new zoom account. 

Once the integration is deactivated, it stops the integration in the running campaigns. And when you activate the integration again, you need to go to the template and setup the widget to set it working for the campaigns. 

There are two ways to deactivate the integration:

1. Directly from your Mailmodo Account or,

2. Uninstalling the Mailmodo app in your Zoom account. 

Steps to deactivate from the Mailmodo account:

Steps to uninstall the Mailmodo app from your Zoom account:

1. Login to your Zoom account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.

Once uninstalled, user has an option to integrate a different Zoom account in Mailmodo. Although, it should be noted that for campaigns already delivered, webinar form submissions post uninstallation of the integrated Zoom account will fail.

With Calendly-Mailmodo integration, you can now share your calendar in the email itself. Recipient's can directly book slots on your calendar from their inbox.

Calendly API V1 will be phased out by June 30, 2022. Users need to migrate from API V1 to API V2. Read more about the change here. 

A dialog box will open. It will prompt you to insert an API token to use this integration.Visit this 

: Personal access token page will open and click on 

Copy the generated token and paste it in the Mailmodo dialog box. Click on 

i) If you want to begin your email with a Calendly block, click on 

ii) If you want to add Calendly below an existing block, click on the 

 from the left Panel. Your calendar will be inserted in the email template.

Be sure to add the fallback HTML version for the Calendar Block.

By default, the button URL will take users to the calendar.

Instead of taking them to the calendar above you can show the AMP page instead.

How to deactivate the Calendly integration?

Users can deactivate the integration to setup new Calendly account. 

Once the integration is deactivated, it stops the integration in the running campaigns. When you activate the integration again, you need to go to the template and setup the widget to set it working for the campaigns.

Deactivate existing Calendly integration by following the steps mentioned above.

Integrate your Calendly Calendar in Mailmodo templates

Polls are an ideal tool for gathering information and engaging your readers. With Mailmodo Poll Widget, you can now easily insert poll questions into your email template. 

If you want to begin your email with a Poll block, click on 

If you want to add Poll below an existing block, click on the 

Under this, you can drag and drop the Poll widget in editor.

A poll with default placeholder values with appear. You can edit the text by clicking on the respective block. 

You can add a poll option by clicking on the

button. You can also delete poll option by clicking on the dustbin icon.

Select the text of the question to find a range of formatting options. You can use these to format the text perfectly.

Use the left-side panel to customise the alignment, theme color, and background colour of the block.

Use Poll Widget in your Template

You can use the NPS rating widget to gather feedback for products and services. Recipients can submit responses right inside their mailbox.

In this article we will learn how to setup and configure the NPS widget in your email template.

Under this, you can drag and drop the NPS Rating widget in editor. 

NPS rating widget is added to your template. You can customise the design as per your requirements.

How to customise the design of the widget?

Click on the text to edit it. Use the text editor to customise the text.

Select the block to see the customisation options in the left menu.

It is upto you to decide whether you want the card or not and you switch it on/off anytime you want.

Select the style of the rating box from the left panel. You can choose between coloured and plain variations.

the minimum rating of the NPS widget as 0 or 1.

You can turn the help text on or off using the toggle in the left panel. Help text is the text written under extreme values of the NPS widget. 

You can edit the help text using the in place text editor.

Choose the colour of the poll background. You can choose from the colour palette provided in the dropdown.

You can set the background colour of the block from the colour picker.

: You can change the outer padding of the widget by changing the length and width as per your preference.

Please note that the mobile padding remains fixed and cannot be changed. The desktop padding set by the user will not have any implication on the mobile padding.

That's it, you have successfully configured the NPS widget in your email template. 

How to use NPS Rating Widget in your template?

Follow the step below to customise spin the wheel widget according to your design theme.

Add spin the wheel widget in the editor. Select upload custom theme in the right panel.

Upload your design assets. You need to upload a starting image, a spinning GIF and a success image.

It should display all the promotional offers and ideally have a "play" call to action on the wheel.

This will appear after user spins the wheel. It should have "stop" call to action on the wheel.

This will appear after the wheel stops spinning.

Follow these guidelines for best results-
