A Guide to Using Interactive Forms in Mailmodo
Last updated July 26, 2025
Mailmodo enables you to embed fully interactive forms directly in your emails, improving engagement and eliminating the need to redirect users to external pages. There are two primary form types:
- Simple Forms - Basic setups ideal for lead capture, newsletter sign-ups
- Advanced Forms - Feature rich forms including conditional logic, validation, and multi-step workflows
Both types can be created and embedded seamlessly within email campaigns using Mailmodo’s no-code editor.
To learn more about the difference between simple and advance form, see Understanding Simple and Advanced forms .
Why Use Forms inside Email?
Embedding forms directly in the email improves response rates by reducing friction and enhancing user experience:
- Higher conversions: Users can respond within the email without clicking out. This reduces drop-offs.
- Better-quality data: More engaged users tend to provide more thoughtful responses.
- Streamlined workflows: Form submissions can be integrated or exported directly to CRMs or spreadsheets.
Here are few examples and usecases for referece:
- Feedback surveys or NPS polls
- Demo booking and registration
- Market research questionnaires
- Newsletter sign-ups or event RSVP forms

- Run A/B tests to identify the highest converting form layout
- Integrate with your existing tools to automate data collection flow
