Trigger a Journey When Web Forms Are Submitted

This guide will show you how to automatically trigger customer journeys in Mailmodo whenever a web form or landing page is submitted, using the Forms & Landing Pages integration.
Prerequisite
Before you start, ensure you have atleast 1 connected web form or landing page. Here are the list of web forms and landing page tools support by Mailmodo:
Detailed steps to setup journey for Web Forms submission
Step 1 -> Choose the form you want to setup journey
Option 1 -> Click on the Setup Journey
option for the Connect Forms.
This option will directly take you to configure screen with the app and form preselected.
Option 2 -> Choose Web Forms
option as trigger type and select the connect form in journey workflow.
- Choose Web Form as trigger type
- Choose the form type and form in the configure screen
Step 2 -> Design your Journey
- Once the trigger node is configured, continue setting up the journey.
- Add actions (send email, update property, wait, etc) as you would for any other trigger event.
Submission data will be updated as contact properties in Mailmodo which you can use for campaign personalization.
Step 3 -> Activate your Journey
- Review and launch your journey.
- As soon as a contact submits the chosen form, the journey will be triggered in real time.
You can view the submission data in the individual contact profile page.
