Here at Mailmodo, we respect your privacy and would never intrude in your inbox against your wishes. For such reasons, we also give you the option to unsubscribe from our emails. But if it's by mistake that you got unsubscribed and you would like to re-subscribe, here are the steps to do so. 

 In the Unsubscribe page, click on "Click to manage your preferences" button. 

 Even if you click the Unsubscribe button, a second page will appear when you can re-subscribe. Click on "Resubscribe" button.

Once resubscribed, the following confirmation message will appear. 

Please note that the user will be resubcribed to receive all emails, including the ones they previously opted out of using individual email categories

How can I resubscribe contacts to my email marketing campaign?

You can now exclude contacts while creating a segment in Mailmodo. For example, List A contains 1000 contacts and List B contains 1200 contacts. There are 200 contacts that belong to both the lists. 

Now, I want to send a campaign to those contacts who are in List A but not in List B. i.e. All contacts belonging to list A (1000) minus all contacts belonging to both List A AND List B (200).

For this, we can create a segment in Mailmodo.

Follow the steps below to quickly get started-

Navigate to the contacts section and create a segment.

Select exclude contacts. Select the lists you do not want as a part of your segment.

Go to the next step and add conditions. Here, you can apply conditions based on user activity and user properties (optional step). Once done, click on create segment.

The created segment will disregard all contacts present in List B.

How to exclude contacts from a segment?

This feature, now available for those using Apple Mail, allows the recipient to limit the ability to track certain information related to their email interactions, such as if and when an email was opened, their location when opening it, and the device and client used. 

This change may impact how marketers assess the success of their email campaigns and interact with their contacts. 

However, it is important to note that your emails will still be delivered to your contacts using Apple Mail and that engagement within the email, such as click activity and click rate, will still be reported for these contacts.

How to identify Apple Mail Privacy Protection Opens in Segmentation?

You can distinguish MPP opens from genuine recipient engagement by utilizing the Apple Privacy Open filter, which can be set to either true or false in the 

, it indicates that the mail was opened at least once on a device with MPP turned on, which means the open event might be due to Apple's MPP and may not reflect an actual email open. In such cases, it is not possible to determine if the message was opened by the recipient or by the inbox.

On the other hand, if "Apple Privacy Open" is 

, the open is associated with the recipient opening and viewing the message on any other device.

Choose Dynamic or Static segment as per your requirement in the 

activity condition and add sample campaigns and time period as per your requirement and click on

This will be especially helpful when you're trying to remove MPP Openers from your engaged segments.

Alternatively, if Apple Privacy Open is

Sometimes, you might need to use one segment as the basis for creating another. Even if you can't directly use segments as contacts for further segmentation, there's a solution. You can use journey to add or remove contacts from the list whenever user meets or doesn’t meet the segmentation criteria.

This article serves as a guide for creating a list that can serve as a substitute for a segment. Towards the end of this guide, we will highlight a few important caveats that you should bear in mind.

Step-by-step guide for creating new segment using pre-existing segment

If you have not yet created a segment that you wish to use for generating a new segment, please follow the steps outlined below:

: Give name to the segment, select the list from which the contacts will be segmented, and choose
