Users can save the created block and reuse that saved block in the new template. 

Follow the below steps to save and reuse the blocks:- 

Add a new block in the editor. You can add texts, images, buttons, AMP widgets or create forms in the block. 

Click on the save icon to save the block. 

Name the block and assign a type to the block (header, footer, newsletter and others). 

Add the block you saved by dragging and dropping it. The block will be added in the editor. You can customize it and save it as another new block in the My Block section.

How to save your created blocks in the editor

You can now share your email templates with others. Follow the guide below to get started in minutes.

Once done, hover over the template in Your templates section. Click on the overflow icon and select Share template.

A modal will open. Configure who all can access the link. You can share the link with your team members or with anyone else who is not part of your Mailmodo workspace.

When you select anyone with the link, the generated link will expire in 7 days. Post 7 days, you need to generate a new URL.

You can also share the template from view mode.

Copy the link and share it. Your team members can seamlessly view the template across devices.

How to share email templates in Mailmodo?

In this article we will learn what are email types, why do we need them and how to assign an email type to a template in Mailmodo.

Email types are a way to categorise the emails you send with Mailmodo. 

Email types are categories associated with templates where each template is assigned an email type.

Your contacts can unsubscribe from email types to make sure they only receive emails they are interested in.

It is a good practice to create and assign email type(s) based on the template content. 

Go to the templates tab from the vertical dashboard on the left. Click on the 3 dots icon besides create new template CTA.

You can add and archive email type(s) from this screen.

Open the template in the editor. Click on the pen icon besides template name.

Assign an email type from this modal. You can either assign a pre existing email type or create a new email type.

Once assigned, click on Save changes. You have successfully assigned an email type to your template.

You can create a campaign with the selected email type. 

Contacts who have unsubscribed from the selected email type will not receive the email campaign.

By default, all contacts will be subscribed to an email type unless configured otherwise or the contact has opted out.

There are three ways a contact can be unsubscribed from an email type:

1. The contact has updated their preferences by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the footer of the email.

2. Contact is unsubscribed from an email type using 

1. To resubscribe contact to email type(s), use 

Go to Contacts > All contacts > Select individual contact whom you want to resubscribe > Click on resubscribe CTA at the bottom of the contact profile page.
