How to get the mmAPI key, template id and campaign id?

To use the Mailmodo APIs to send an email template, trigger a campaign or add a contact into a list, users require mmAPI key, template id and campaign id in respective cases to configure the API.

 Follow the steps to get these details from your Mailmodo account. 

Steps to get the mmAPI key ⤵️

Step 1: Go to the settings page. 

Step 2: Click on API keys.

Step 3You would see a pre-made default API key for your account. You can use that or create a new API key by clicking on Add New API Key button. 

Step 4: Click on Show API Key to get the API key on the screen.

Step 5: Copy the API Key and paste it into your system.

Steps to get the template id ⤵️

Step 1: Go to the templates page. 

Step 2: Click on the View button of the respective template.

Step 3: Copy the template Id and Paste it into your system. 

Steps to get the campaign id ⤵️

Step 1: Go to Trigger under Campaigns section in the left menu and select a campaign.

Step 2: The campaign ID can be found in the URL of the campaign.

Note: The following method is only valid when the campaign is triggered via REST API.

Step 1: Go to the Trigger under Campaigns section in the left menu.

Step 2: Click on Create Trigger Campaign. 

Step 3: Select your created Template and click Next.

Step 4: Add Campaign Details like Campaign Name, Subject, Pre-header,  From Name and Reply to email.

Step 5: Select the Rest API option in the Trigger on events section and Click Next to review the campaign.

How to get the mmAPI key, template id and campaign id?

Step 6Once the campaign is reviewed, click on enable the campaign to get the campaign id in the form of the API endpoint.

Step 7: Click on the Copy URL and paste it into your system to complete the setup.
