We will setup Shopify's abandoned cart journey in this article.

Step 1: Connect your Shopify store with Mailmodo through the Private app.

Step 2: Go to the Integrations tab on the left panel. Click on see details in the Shopify app. 

Now, click on the Create Journey and fill the following details-

‘Sender Email’ (the email you want to send emails from),

‘Sender Name’ (the name you want on your emails),

‘Reply to’ (the email address where you want to receive your customers' replies).

Step 3: The next step is to set up the campaign. You need to enter a campaign name, select a template, enter suitable subject line and pre-header text, and set up Delay Timer.

Step 4: Use the ‘add campaign’ option to create different campaigns for your customers.

Step 5: Now, click on ‘create journey’ to finalise the campaign and enter your email to test the journey.

Step 6: You need to perform the abandoned cart event in your connected store and wait for the set journey to trigger.

Step 7: If the journey is working according to what was set, click on the publish button to set the journey live.

Step 8: In case you wish to pause the journey just published and want to do a re-test, you can click on the 'Test Journey' button to change the status.

Step 9: You can check the analytics, pause the journey and perform edits by navigating to the ‘Journey’ section (left panel) in the Mailmodo dashboard.

Shopify checkout method ensures that all the checks are in place before the final order is placed as the customer has to go to the Shopify page to finalise the order.
