To make digital payments in India more safe and secure, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is requiring AFA authorization for recurring online payments made using credit and debit cards. This mandate is effective as of October 1, 2021. please refer to the 

To facilitate payment and to minimize business disruption, we will renew your subscription even when we are not able to automatically charge your card. You will receive an email notifications asking you to pay the invoices manually. You can also use the link in the message to pay for your pending invoices in case you did not receive the email.

Additionally, you will be asked to set an e-mandate for automatically collecting payments for the future renewal. This will help to avoid inconvenience of making the manual payment every time.

Why are my payments due even when I have already added a card?

Email credits in Mailmodo determine the number of emails you can send based on your subscription plan. Each email sent during campaigns, journeys, or transactional campaigns consumes one credit.

: Bulk campaigns, trigger campaigns, and journeys.

: Test emails or test campaigns do not consume email credits.

Your subscription plan defines the number of email credits you get each billing cycle.

Once your allocated credits are used up, additional emails are considered 

: If you cancel a campaign after it’s sent, email credits used for that campaign will not be refunded. If you believe this was an error, contact 

: Email credits purchased as add-ons will have a specified validity, as mentioned during the purchase process.

What happens when you schedule a cancellation?

Your account subscription will be cancelled on the next date of renewal

You may continue to use your account till the end of the current billing cycle

Once cancelled, you will no longer be able to use Mailmodo

If you are the primary account owner, you can initiate the cancellation process from the plan settings.

Step 1: Navigate to settings > Plans > Cancel subscription> Schedule cancellation

Step 2: When you click on schedule cancellation, you will see a confirmation modal.

Enter the reason for cancellation. If you are sure you want to cancel your subscription, type 

Step 3: Upon confirmation, your plan subscription will be scheduled for cancellation

What happens to existing workflows after your plan is cancelled?

You will no longer be able to use Mailmodo

All running transactional campaigns will stop working

All active integrations will be deactivated

Any campaigns scheduled for the future (which were supposed to be sent after cancellation date) will be canceled
