Syncing List Views and Campaigns from Salesforce to Mailmodo

Importing Salesforce List Views to Mailmodo

By default, a Salesforce List View for Contacts or Leads will create a list in Mailmodo, and the name of the list will be determined based on the list view in Salesforce. Whenever a new list view is created or records in the existing list views are updated, the same will be reflected in Mailmodo at regular intervals. 

As you can see in the screenshot below, the Salesforce list view for Leads (1) and Contacts (2) are synced separately.  

Note - Contacts and Leads who don’t have a valid email address will not be added to the list in Mailmodo.

Importing Salesforce Campaigns to Mailmodo 

By default, a Salesforce Campaign will create a list in Mailmodo, and campaign members will be added to the same. The name of the list will be determined based on the campaign name in Salesforce. Whenever a new campaign is created or members are updated in the existing campaigns, the same will be reflected in Mailmodo at regular intervals. Here are a few additional things to keep in mind when importing the salesforce campaign to Mailmodo:

1. Only active campaigns will be synced to Mailmodo

2. Campaign members who don’t have a valid email address will not be imported.

3. Campaigns whose names start with MM_ will not be synced to Mailmodo. This is because Mailmodo uses the Salesforce Campaign object to send back the campaign metrics and uses the same nomenclature for creating campaigns. See this article for more details

As you can see in the screenshot below, Salesforce Campaigns are synced with the appropriate name in Mailmodo.

Please note - By default, sync frequency is set to 60 mins i.e., every 60 mins new records and changes to the existing records are updated in Mailmodo. If you want to change the sync frequency, then please reach out to     Mailmodo Customer Support    .
